To be close with the close in gratitude and righteousness is a standard from the ancients to now. Clansmen maintaining the fortresses is what the poets praise. All the more for these various Sūn, some supporting the rise and first foundations, some defending and occupying the border frontiers, upholding their responsibilities, they did not shame their glory! Therefore they are comprehensively written here.

　　評曰：夫親親恩義，古今之常。宗子維城，詩人所稱。況此諸孫，或贊興初基，或鎮據邊陲，克堪厥任，不忝其榮者乎！故詳著云。
